Two First-Year College Students Allegedly Assaulted by Seniors in Mangaluru

In a city called Mangaluru, two students who just started college were hurt by older students.

The older students are in their second year of college.

The police think the older students were bullying the new students.

This kind of bullying is called ragging.

Ragging happens when older students tease or hurt new students, sometimes to seem powerful.

The attack happened near a small tea shop outside the college.

The police are talking to the two new students to hear what happened.

They are also writing an official report called an FIR.

The police want to find out exactly what happened and who was involved.

They want to make sure that every student is safe and treated fairly.
