Kishan Reddy Seeks Probes Into Telangana Land, Welfare Irregularities

Union minister G. Kishan Reddy accused Telangana’s Congress-led government of several problems.

He said private land was wrongly placed on a list that restricts property transactions.

He asked for a judge-led investigation into how land was added or removed from that list.

He also said the Centre’s logo and the prime minister’s name were removed from free-ration cards.

The ration program gives each beneficiary five kilograms of free rice.

Reddy said private colleges were owed about ₹15,000 crore in fee reimbursements.

He supported the voter-list review but accused the chief minister of confusing people about it.

He also announced that the Centre would hold Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17.

The article reports Reddy’s allegations and demands, not an independent finding that they are true.
