Kargil Alliance Announces Hunger Strike for Ladakh Statehood
The Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) is organizing a three-day hunger strike to push the government to talk about giving Ladakh more rights.
They want Ladakh to become a state and get special protections called the Sixth Schedule.
They are also asking for separate seats in Parliament and a local Public Service Commission.
The KDA feels the government is taking too long to discuss these issues, so they are protesting to get their demands met.
