Jaipur's Ajmer Road Elevated Road to Face Traffic Congestion
Get ready for slower traffic on Jaipur's Ajmer Road elevated road!
The road is getting a makeover, and this means some lanes will be closed for a few days.
Workers will be fixing the road surface in sections, so traffic will still be able to move, but slowly.
Big trucks won't be allowed on the elevated road during the work.
This is the first major fix for the road since it opened in 2014.
Drivers can still use parts of the road without problems, but expect delays near the Sodala Fruit Market.
The Gopalbari-bound side has already been fixed and will be open as usual.
Traffic will be slower on the Sodala-bound flank of Ajmer Road due to road refurbishment.
The work, starting Monday, will take four to five days and will be done in phases.
Traffic movement will not be completely stopped during the work.
Big vehicles will not be allowed on the elevated road during the refurbishment.
The Gopalbari-bound flank has already been resurfaced and will resume normal traffic.
