Pakistan Supports China's Mediation Claims
Pakistan's foreign office spokesperson said that China was in constant contact with Pakistan's leaders and also made some contacts with India's leaders during a tense period in May.
This was mentioned in a press briefing on Thursday.
Pakistan supports China's claim that it tried to mediate between India and Pakistan during that time.
India, however, says that it resolved the tensions through direct talks and does not need any outside help.
China's foreign minister also talked about this mediation in a press conference.
The situation along India's northern borders is stable but still sensitive.
