UP to set up digital libraries in villages for competitive exam prep
The government of Uttar Pradesh is creating digital libraries in many villages.
These libraries will have e-books, video lectures, audio content, and quizzes to help students prepare for important exams.
The government is spending money to set up these libraries in 35 districts.
Each library will have a lot of digital resources to help students learn.
This way, students in villages won't have to go to big cities to find books and study materials.
Uttar Pradesh government is setting up digital libraries in 11,350 gram panchayats across 35 districts.
Each library will have e-books, video lectures, audio content, quizzes, and nearly 20,000 digital educational resources.
The government is spending Rs 4 lakh on each library, with Rs 2 lakh allocated for books, Rs 1.30 lakh for IT equipment, and Rs 70,000 for furniture.
The initiative aims to help students prepare for competitive exams without depending on coaching classes.
