CJP Rejects Nadda's Invitation for Talks
The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has refused an invitation from Union Minister J P Nadda to talk about their concerns.
They want the talks to happen at their protest site, Jantar Mantar, in New Delhi, because they believe it's important for the ministers to speak to the public directly.
The CJP has been protesting there for a while, asking for an investigation into a problem with a big exam called NEET and the resignation of the Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan.
They think that talking at their protest site will make the discussion more open and fair.
The government, however, invited them to the minister's residence, which the CJP sees as less transparent.
Union Minister J P Nadda invited the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) for talks on Thursday.
CJP rejected the invitation, demanding a neutral venue, preferably at their protest site, Jantar Mantar.
CJP has been protesting at Jantar Mantar since last month over the NEET paper 'leak' and demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
CJP spokesperson Saurav Das stated that ministers should engage with the public at the protest site.
