Tigress Poaching Investigation Launched in Wildlife Sanctuary
In a wildlife sanctuary, forest workers found a dead tigress buried.
Only part of her body was there, which made people think she was poached.
The Environment Minister is very upset and wants the people who did this to be caught and punished.
He's also checking into other recent tiger deaths in the area to see if they were related.
The government is worried because a lot of tigers have died in the sanctuary recently, so they're trying to stop it from happening again.
A tigress carcass was discovered partially buried in the Male Mahadeshwara Wildlife Sanctuary.
The recovered body parts included the head, shoulders, and forelimbs.
Minister Eshwar B. Khandre ordered an investigation led by the PCCF.
The incident is believed to be a poaching case.
The investigation will review past poaching cases and issue a report within eight days.
