Jharkhand Youth Recruitment Reform Yatra Draws Hazaribagh Support

Devendra Nath Mahto is leading a campaign to change how government jobs are recruited in Jharkhand.

Students and job seekers joined him in Hazaribagh.

They want examinations run by JPSC and JSSC to be fair and free from corruption.

Mahto said young people across all 24 districts are frustrated.

The campaign began its second phase in Nemra village.

Some villagers tried to stop the launch because they alleged Mahto planned to burn an effigy of Hemant Soren.

The launch went ahead despite the protest.

The campaign will travel through many districts of Jharkhand.

Its organisers say it is about young people’s future, rights and dignity.
