C.M. Ibrahim Launches New Regional Party in Karnataka
C.M. Ibrahim, who used to be a leader in the JD(S) party, is starting a new political party in Karnataka.
He announced this at a meeting in Kalaburagi.
The new party will officially begin on January 24 and will focus on helping regular people and making sure everyone is treated fairly.
Ibrahim said he talked to other leaders who think like him, and they will soon decide the party's name and symbol.
He also mentioned that the party will be inspired by the teachings of Basavanna and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, who believed in equality and fairness.
Ibrahim left the JD(S) because he didn't agree with their decision to work with the BJP.
He said he won't go back to the Congress party either.
