IKEA Opens Second Delhi Store in Saket, 30,000 Sq Ft
IKEA, the Swedish furniture store, opened a new shop in Delhi’s Saket area on July 30, 2026.
The shop is big—about 30,000 square feet—so people can walk around and try out furniture.
It has almost 3,000 items inside and many more online.
The store shows how furniture can fit into different homes, which is useful because people in South Delhi live in many kinds of houses.
Shoppers liked the bigger space and the chance to sit on beds and test things out.
IKEA’s manager said the store shows how the brand cares about people’s everyday lives.
IKEA opened its second Delhi store on July 30, 2026, at DLF Avenue, Saket, covering 30,000 sq ft over two floors.
The store offers nearly 3,000 in‑store items and 7,000 online products, with spacious sample rooms and a Swedish café.
The location was chosen to reflect South Delhi’s mix of independent houses, builder floors, and contemporary apartments, emphasizing flexible, reconfigurable furniture.
Shoppers praised the larger layout, hands‑on experience, and quality of items compared to the first Pacific Mall outlet.
IKEA India’s Country Commercial Manager, Adosh Sharma, said the brand aims to grow its presence in India with full‑size stores in Gurgaon and Noida.
