Mumbai ACB Books Two BMC Engineers Over ₹3.5 Lakh

Mumbai’s Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a case against three people.

Two of them are engineers working for the city corporation.

The third person is described as a private individual.

A worker said they asked him for ₹3.5 lakh.

He said the money was wanted before bills for completed work could be approved.

The work involved the Pink Army scheme and cleaning public toilets.

He reported the alleged demand to the ACB instead of paying.

The ACB is now investigating the case.
