Delhi Couple Arrested in Alleged Pakistan-Linked Spy Network

Delhi Police arrested a husband and wife named Mohammad Sahil and Sameera.

Police say they may have helped a spy network connected to Pakistan.

Investigators allege that the couple sent eight Indian SIM cards to Pakistan through Dubai.

The couple reportedly received about Rs 30,000 for doing this.

Police say the cards were used to create WhatsApp accounts that entered Indian groups.

Those accounts allegedly tried to collect sensitive information from people in India.

Police also allege that Sahil was asked to find people to watch military cantonment areas.

The couple’s phones reportedly contained chats with people described as Pakistani handlers.

The investigation is continuing, and the allegations have not been proven in court.
