Congress Protests Over Manimajra Civic Issues
The Manimajra District Congress Committee held a big protest in front of the Municipal Corporation’s office.
They were upset about many problems in their area, like not getting permission to build houses, no proper water supply, and bad roads.
The leaders of the protest said that Manimajra is an old area, and it's not fair to ask for new papers to get water or sell houses.
They gave a list of their demands to a high official who promised to fix the problems soon.
Manimajra District Congress Committee protested against long-pending civic issues.
Key issues included non-issuance of house NOCs and denial of permanent water connections.
Protest led by Harmohinder Singh Lucky, Surjit Dhillon, and Sanjeev Gaba.
Residents highlighted the illogical requirement of completion certificates for old Manimajra.
