Drug Peddlers Arrested in Hyderabad
The Hyderabad Task Force and Telangana EAGLE Force, along with the Saifabad and Railway police, caught five men selling drugs.
They found a lot of drugs worth Rs 23.5 lakh, including Brown Sugar and 'ganja'.
The men were buying drugs from Odisha and selling them in Hyderabad.
One of their customers died from an overdose.
The police are now taking further action against the men.
This shows that the Hyderabad and Telangana police are serious about stopping drug sales in the city.
The Hyderabad Task Force and Telangana EAGLE Force arrested five drug peddlers in separate cases.
They seized 100 grams of Brown Sugar, 1,350 grams of 'ganja', and 6.250 kgs of ganja, worth Rs 23.5 lakh.
The accused sourced drugs from Odisha and were selling them in Hyderabad and Khammam, Karimnagar.
The peddlers were buying drugs for Rs 5,000 per gram and selling them for Rs 8,000 to 10,000.
One of their customers died from an overdose after buying drugs from them.
