Congress Targets 100 Seats in Kerala Elections
The Congress party in Kerala has set a big goal to win 100 out of 140 seats in the next elections.
They want to bring their group, called UDF, back to power after 10 years.
The leader, VD Satheesan, said they have a plan that includes ideas from the public and experts.
They think people are tired of the current government, LDF, and want change.
The Congress is also happy that another party, BJP, didn't get as many votes as they hoped.
The Congress leaders are now working hard in their areas to get ready for the elections.
Congress aims to win 100 seats in Kerala's upcoming assembly elections.
UDF believes they have an inclusive platform representing all political and social groups.
Congress currently holds 21 seats and needs to win at least 40 more to reach the target.
Recent local body polls showed UDF leading in 75-78 assembly segments.
BJP's vote share dropped from 20% to 14.6% in local body elections.
