Gujarat Campaign Boosts Child Nutrition

In Gujarat's Kheda district, a special campaign called 'Gaam No Nirdhar, Sahkaare Sakar' is helping fight child malnutrition.

Farmers and villagers are donating small amounts of milk and other nutritious foods to anganwadis, which are centers for young children.

The milk is collected in special containers and given to malnourished children every day.

The campaign started on November 14 and has already collected thousands of liters of milk, helping over 3,000 children.

The district collector and Amul Dairy are leading this effort, and everyone is working together to make sure children get the nutrition they need.

People are also encouraged to donate nutritious items on special occasions like birthdays and festivals.

This campaign shows how a community can come together to solve a big problem like malnutrition.
