Delhi Hit by Waterlogging, Traffic After Heavy Rainfall
Imagine a big storm came to Delhi!
It rained a lot, causing the roads to flood like a swimming pool.
This made it hard for cars and people to get around because of water everywhere.
Some areas had more rain than others.
Because of the storm, officials told everyone to stay safe by staying inside and not going on the roads.
The good news is that the rain cooled things down a bit, making the weather nicer for a while!
Heavy rains caused significant waterlogging and traffic disruptions in Delhi on Wednesday morning.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued red and orange alerts for different parts of the city.
Several areas, including South Delhi and ITO, experienced severe waterlogging and traffic snarls.
The IMD recorded varying amounts of rainfall across different weather stations.
Authorities advised residents to stay indoors and avoid travel due to the adverse conditions.
