IGI Appoints Anoop Mehta as Chairman
The International Gemological Institute (IGI), which tests diamonds and gemstones, has a new leader.
Anoop Vrajlal Mehta is now the Chairman, starting June 6th.
He also runs Mohit Diamonds and is the President of the Bharat Diamond Bourse.
The CEO of IGI is happy to have him because Mehta knows a lot about diamonds.
He will help IGI with his experience.
Mehta's job is to help IGI do a great job in the diamond business.
Anoop Vrajlal Mehta has been appointed as Chairman of IGI.
The appointment was announced on Tuesday.
Mehta is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Mohit Diamonds.
He is the President of the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB).
The appointment is effective June 6.
