Nemai Ghosh's Lens Showcases Satyajit Ray's Life
An exhibition called 'Light and Shadow' shows pictures of Satyajit Ray taken by Nemai Ghosh.
Ghosh, who was like a close friend to Ray, captured many moments of his life and movies.
The pictures show both Ray at work and candid moments.
They give viewers a chance to see Ray and the actors in his movies from a new perspective.
The exhibition also reveals how photography can sometimes show what's hidden, like the way someone feels or what they are thinking.
The photographs are valuable for showing the history of Indian cinema.
This exhibition gives audiences insight into Satyajit Ray's life and work.
The exhibition is titled 'Light and Shadow: Satyajit Ray Through Nemai Ghosh’s Lens'.
Nemai Ghosh was the photographer and considered to be Satyajit Ray's 'Boswell with a camera'.
The Alipore Museum is hosting the exhibition, organized by DAG.
