Dell Brings Enterprise AI From Cloud To Desktop
Dell is making new computers and meeting tools designed to use artificial intelligence.
These devices are meant for businesses and workplaces.
Some of them are regular office computers, while others are powerful workstations.
Dell also announced monitors and a webcam for online meetings.
The company wants more AI tasks to happen directly on a person’s computer.
This is different from relying only on powerful computers in the cloud.
Jacinta Quah described this as moving the AI conversation from the cloud to the desk.
The products show that Dell is focusing on AI as part of its enterprise hardware.
Dell introduced AI-ready commercial PCs, workstations and collaboration hardware.
The lineup includes Dell Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 commercial PCs.
Dell also announced Pro Precision tower and rack workstations.
New collaboration products include conferencing monitors, a 4K monitor and webcam.
Jacinta Quah said the products reflect Dell’s effort to bring AI onto the desk, rather than keeping it only in the cloud.
