Three Young Dancers Find Individual Voices in Bharatanatyam

Three Young Dancers Find Individual Voices in Bharatanatyam

Three young dancers performed at a formal stage debut called Praphulla Prana.

Their names were Suvajit, Sharanya and Hrishita.

Their teacher, Madhuboni Chatterjee, prepared the dances for them.

Suvajit danced with strength and sharp movements.

Sharanya showed gentle and expressive feelings in her pieces.

Hrishita brought energy and confidence to the stage.

They told stories through dance, including one about Vishnu’s different forms.

Live music accompanied the evening, which ended with a fast, rhythmic dance.
