UP Creates Corporation to Regulate Outsourced Staff
The Uttar Pradesh government is creating a new organization called UPOSCL to manage workers who are hired from outside companies.
This new system will make sure these workers get paid fairly, with salaries between Rs 16,000 and Rs 20,000 each month, and receive benefits like insurance.
The money will go straight into their bank accounts.
It also includes protections like job security and the opportunity for advancement through training and reservation.
The new system is designed to prevent issues like unpaid wages.
This is a first of its kind reform to improve working conditions.
UP Cabinet approved the Uttar Pradesh Outsource Service Corporation Limited (UPOSCL).
The corporation will oversee over 11 lakh outsourced employees across 93 departments.
Outsourced employees will receive salaries ranging from Rs 16,000 to Rs 20,000 monthly.
