Indian Silver Prices Rise Further on 21 August 2026

Silver became more expensive in India on 21 August 2026.

One gram cost ₹246, and one kilogram cost ₹246,040.

This was a 0.85% increase from the reported previous close.

Prices were similar in several cities, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, and Surat.

A weaker US dollar can make silver less expensive for buyers using other currencies.

The US Treasury’s bond-buyback decision and expectations that the Federal Reserve may keep interest rates unchanged also helped silver.

Investors were buying precious metals as currencies and bonds became more volatile.

Analysts said silver could keep rising, but it may fall if it drops below important support levels.
