Gen Z Post Office Opens at IIT Delhi
A new post office called the Gen Z Post Office has opened at IIT Delhi.
It looks different from regular post offices because it has a red and white design and feels more like a café.
Inside, there's free Wi-Fi, a place to charge your phone, a coffee machine, and even a small library.
You can send parcels, pay using your phone, and update your Aadhaar details here.
The students at IIT Delhi helped design this post office, and it's part of a bigger plan to make 46 post offices on university campuses more modern and student-friendly by the end of 2025.
The Gen Z Post Office at IIT Delhi opened on November 19, 2025, offering modern amenities to attract young people.
The post office features a café-style environment with free Wi-Fi, charging points, and a mini-library.
Services include parcel booking, digital payments via QR codes, and Aadhaar updates.
IIT Delhi students contributed to the design and artwork, promoting collaboration with India Post.
India Post plans to modernize 46 university campus post offices by December 15, 2025.
