Andhra Pradesh Announces Sanjeevani Statewide Trial From December 10
Andhra Pradesh is testing a new healthcare programme called Sanjeevani.
The trial will begin across the state on December 10.
The programme is expected to start fully on January 1 next year.
Mobile health vehicles, called health chariots, will visit people.
They will provide 41 kinds of medical tests for free.
People will receive their test results through WhatsApp within 48 hours.
The results will help create a digital health record for each person.
Doctors can use these records to understand past treatment and medicines.
Health workers will help patients get further treatment when needed.
