Madhya Pradesh Removes 72 Hospitals Over NABH Certification Noncompliance

Madhya Pradesh has removed 72 private hospitals from a program that helps people get treatment.

The article says most of the action was connected to hospitals not meeting a certification rule.

The certification is called NABH.

Twenty-one hospitals have until October 31 to provide their certificates.

Until then, they will remain removed from the program.

The article also mentions hospitals removed for missing paperwork, serious irregularities, or not treating program patients recently.

There are 813 private hospitals in the state that provide care through the program.

More than half of those in four major cities are in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior.
