Coca-Cola and Jubilant Bhartia Group Consider HCCB IPO
Coca-Cola, along with the Jubilant Bhartia Group, is thinking about listing their bottling company, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB), in India.
Last year, Coca-Cola sold a significant part of HCCB to the Jubilant Bhartia Group for a large sum.
Rothschild & Co helped with this deal, focusing on finding a long-term partner.
The deal reflects growing interest in the Indian consumer market.
Experts believe that tax incentives from the government will cause further expansion in the consumer sector, especially during the festive season.
Coca-Cola and Jubilant Bhartia Group may consider listing Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB) in India.
The Coca Cola Company sold a 40% stake in HCCB to the Jubilant Bhartia Group in December.
The deal was valued at approximately Rs 12,000-12,500 crore.
Rothschild & Co advised Coca Cola on the deal.
Family offices are increasingly interested in the Indian consumer sector.
