PM Modi Launches ‘Your Money, Your Right’ Mission
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started a big campaign called ‘Your Money, Your Right’ to help people get back money they forgot about in banks, insurance companies, and other places.
This money is called unclaimed because people might have forgotten old accounts or moved to new cities.
The government has made it easy by creating special websites where people can search for their money.
They have also set up help camps in many districts so everyone can get assistance.
So far, they have returned Rs 2,000 crore, but there is still a lot more money waiting to be claimed.
It's a great chance for people to find and get their forgotten wealth back!
The Central Government launched the ‘Your Money, Your Right’ mission to return unclaimed funds to citizens.
Over Rs 1 lakh crore is currently unclaimed in banks, insurance companies, mutual funds, and dividends.
PM Modi announced that Rs 2,000 crore has already been returned to rightful owners since the campaign began in October 2025.
Government portals like UDGAM, Bima Bharosa, MITRA, and IEPFA have been created to simplify the claim process.
