PHED to Maintain Single-Village Water Scheme for Three Years
The government has decided how to take care of the water project in villages for the next three years.
The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) will be in charge of the project.
This was decided after the PHED and Panchayat departments couldn't agree.
The Chief Minister was there when they made the deal.
The Panchayats will still collect the water bills.
The project has helped many more people get water through pipes in their villages.
The goal is to provide water to even more families.
PHED will manage the Grameen Nal Jal Yojna for three years.
The decision came after disagreement between PHED and Panchayat departments.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav presided over the meeting where the agreement was made.
