Dilip Buildcon Reports 22.8% Profit Decline in Q2 FY26 Amid Slower Project Execution
Dilip Buildcon, a company that builds big infrastructure projects, had a tougher time in the last few months of 2025.
They earned less money, about 23% less than the same time last year, and their overall sales also went down by about 22%.
This is because some of their big construction jobs didn't move as fast as they did before.
However, the company did make a bit more profit on each project they completed.
Importantly, they also won several new large contracts in different parts of India for things like roads, metro lines, and water systems.
Even though profits were down for this period, they still have a lot of work lined up for the future, worth over ₹18,000 crore.
Dilip Buildcon's net profit for Q2 FY26 fell 22.8% to ₹182 crore, with revenue down 21.8% to ₹1,925 crore.
The decline in earnings is attributed to a slowdown in project execution compared to the previous year.
Operating margins improved to 24.5% from 20.3% year-on-year.
The company secured new infrastructure projects totaling over ₹4,300 crore across Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha.
Dilip Buildcon maintained a net order book of ₹18,610 crore as of September 30, 2025.
