Hyderabad's Ganesh Chaturthi to Honor Military with 'Operation Sindoor' Theme
In Hyderabad, the Ganesh Chaturthi festival is getting a special military theme.
This year's focus, 'Operation Sindoor,' will be reflected in a large Ganesh idol costing a significant amount of money.
The idol will showcase weapons and structures related to the armed forces.
The organizers aim to pay tribute to the courage of Indian soldiers through this theme.
The celebrations will also include displays about Indian military history, and a short video made with AI, telling the story of the Indian Army.
The organizers have been putting on Ganesh celebrations for many years, previously featuring themes like Chandrayaan.
Hyderabad's Ganesh Chaturthi celebration will feature an idol inspired by 'Operation Sindoor'.
The idol, costing nearly ₹6 lakh, includes models of military equipment like BrahMos missiles and S-400 rifles.
Posters highlighting key events in India’s defence history, including recent operations, will be displayed.
Organizers chose the theme to honor the bravery and sacrifices of Indian soldiers.
A short AI-generated video depicting India's military history will be shown during the festival.
