Bhopal's Shaheed Bhawan Auditorium Renovation Nears Completion
The Shaheed Bhawan, a popular and affordable place in Bhopal for plays and other shows, is getting a makeover.
It has been closed for a few months while workers fix up the stage, lights, and sound systems.
They are also making the bathrooms nicer and painting the walls.
This place is special because it doesn't cost a lot of money to rent for events, making it accessible for many artists.
It can seat 230 people and is expected to open its doors again very soon, either in December or January, ready for more performances.
Shaheed Bhawan, Bhopal's most affordable auditorium, is nearing completion of its renovation.
The auditorium has been closed for three months for the facelift.
Renovations include improvements to the green room, stage, light and sound systems, and bathrooms.
The project is costing Rs 50 lakh and will feature a modern look with an extended stage.
The 230-seating capacity venue, run by the Swaraj Sansthan directorate, is expected to reopen in December or January.
