BPCL to Build ATF Pipeline for GMR Hyderabad Airport
BPCL and GMR Hyderabad Airport have agreed to build a special pipeline to carry airplane fuel.
This pipeline will be 56 kilometers long and will help reduce the need for trucks to transport fuel, which is better for the environment.
The pipeline will make it easier and more efficient to get fuel to the airport.
BPCL and GMR Hyderabad Airport both think this is a good idea because it will save money and help the planet.
BPCL signed an agreement to build a dedicated ATF pipeline to GMR Hyderabad Airport.
The pipeline will span 56 kilometers, including 1 kilometer within the airport premises.
The pipeline will operate on a common carrier basis, reducing dependence on road-based fuel logistics.
The initiative aims to minimize carbon emissions by reducing road transportation of fuel.
BPCL and GHIAL officials highlighted the cost-efficiency and sustainability of the project.
