Vivian Kubrick Rejects Claims of Missing Eyes Wide Shut Footage

Some people online believe that part of the movie Eyes Wide Shut was secretly removed after Stanley Kubrick died.

The missing part is said to be about 20 minutes long.

Kubrick’s daughter, Vivian, said she had never heard about this at the time.

She said the movie was already nearly finished when her father died.

She knew only that computer-generated figures were added to cover some nudity.

This was done because Warner Bros.

wanted the movie to receive an R rating.

Some original film materials and outtakes were later destroyed.

Vivian said she was not present during the first 30 hours after her father’s death, so she cannot know everything that happened then.
