Delhi HC Rejects JEE Aspirants' Plea
Two students who took the JEE 2025 exam thought there were mistakes in their answer sheets.
They went to court to complain, but the court said the answer sheets they showed weren't real.
The court also said the students' claims didn't make sense and couldn't be proven.
Instead of paying a fine, the court told the students to do community service for a month.
One student will help at an old age home, and the other will help at a child care center.
The students can still take other exams, but they can't take the JEE exam in 2025 and 2026.
Delhi High Court upheld the dismissal of a plea by two JEE aspirants alleging discrepancies in the 2025 exam response sheets.
The court directed the aspirants to perform community service for one month instead of imposing costs.
The court relied on a forensic report that found missing browser logs corresponding to the time of downloading the alleged scorecards.
The aspirants' claims were deemed mathematically inconsistent and contrary to established examination procedures.
The aspirants are barred from appearing in the JEE examinations for 2025 and 2026 but can appear in other exams.
