AP, Australia Sign MoU on Inclusive Education and Mental Health
Andhra Pradesh, a state in India, and Australia signed a big agreement to help students learn better and feel happier.
They will work together to teach kids who need special help, give students tools to talk about their feelings, and help people learn jobs that can take them abroad.
The agreement was signed by the state’s education minister and an Australian minister.
They also plan to use a special online platform to give students private counseling.
This partnership shows how two countries can help each other make schools safer and smarter.
Andhra Pradesh and Australia signed a Memorandum of Understanding covering inclusive education, student mental health, and skill development.
The MoU was signed by Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh and Australian Assistant Minister Julian Hill.
The agreement includes a pilot program with Rebound Dimple to provide confidential mental health resources and virtual counseling to students in selected higher education institutions.
Another MoU with Dynamic Learning Services aims to strengthen vocational education, industry‑aligned training, and international employment pathways.
A separate MoU with UNSW, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, and Samagra Shiksha will enhance teacher capacity to educate children with autism and other neurodiverse needs.
