Accused Arrested in Panchayat Raj AE Family Death Case
Police have arrested Shaik Sadiq Khan in a case involving the deaths of three members of a family.
The incident happened near a bridge over the Godavari River on August 16.
Assistant Engineer Nukaraju, his wife Meena and their daughter Sowjanya died.
A 10-year-old grandson was rescued by fishermen.
A note allegedly written by Sowjanya blamed Khan for harassment, threats and blackmail.
It also raised questions about the death of her husband, Jagadish Reddy.
Police found Khan in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on August 22.
Investigators are now checking phones, financial records, medical documents and other evidence.
Khan was brought to Kakinada after being presented before a court in Meerut.
