Six Indian Companies Begin Nuclear Power Project Plans
Several major Indian companies, including Tata Power and JSW Energy, are taking the first steps towards building their own nuclear power plants.
They've signed initial agreements to join the government's plan to use small nuclear reactors.
These reactors are designed to provide power for the companies' own use, reducing their reliance on other energy sources.
The plan involves building these reactors in different states.
JM Financial sees this as a good move, and recommends buying stocks from Tata Power and JSW Energy.
Six companies submitted documents to NPCIL for nuclear power projects.
This is the first step in the Bharat Small Reactors (BSRs) program.
