Bengal Ministers Promise Business Reforms and New Industrial Investment
A business meeting called Uttoron 2026 was held in Kolkata.
About 300 people from India and other countries attended.
Minister Agnimitra Paul said the government wants businesses to face fewer obstacles.
She said more services, such as building approvals and trade licences, will become digital.
She also promised better roads, drainage, water supply and market areas.
Minister Tapas Roy said the government wants to bring industries back to Bengal and attract new investors.
He said companies may receive help based on how many jobs they can create.
The organisers also plan to give members free advice from experienced professionals.
Urban development minister Agnimitra Paul promised less government interference and more digital civic services for businesses.
