PM Modi Declares Victory Over Maoism, Citing Surrenders and Development
Prime Minister Modi said that the Maoist problem in India is getting much smaller.
He said that in many places where Maoists used to have control, the Indian flag is now flying instead of their red flags.
This is happening because many Maoists are giving up their fight and joining regular life.
Modi also pointed out that in some areas, like Bijapur, electricity has been brought in for the first time in many years, and schools are being built where there were none.
He said that for a long time, Maoist activities stopped roads from being built and prevented doctors and teachers from working safely.
He promised that the country would soon be completely free of Maoism and that those who were misled into violence are now surrendering.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that Maoist influence has been significantly reduced, with 'red flags' replaced by the national flag ('Tiranga') in many areas.
He highlighted development in Chhattisgarh, including the arrival of electricity after seven decades and the construction of a school in Abujhmarh.
Modi criticized individuals and past governments for perpetuating injustice against the Adivasi community for political gain and neglecting development.
The number of Maoist-controlled districts has decreased from 150 eleven years ago to just three currently (Bijapur, Sukma, and Narayanpur).
Numerous Naxalites have surrendered, joining the mainstream, with recent surrenders reported in Kanker and Bastar.

Impact of Maoism
Government's Stance (PM Modi)
Maoism has historically hindered development, prevented infrastructure projects like roads, and led to the killing of essential service workers like teachers and doctors, causing suffering to the Adivasi community.
Critique/Past Approaches Mentioned by PM
Those who claim to follow the constitution and social justice have actually done injustice to the Adivasi community for their own political benefit, while rulers in 'AC rooms' neglected the regions.
Current Situation vs. Past

Significant progress has been made, reducing Maoist-controlled districts from 150 to 3, with many Naxalites surrendering and joining the mainstream due to effective operations and development initiatives.
Critique/Past Approaches Mentioned by PM
Past governments ignored these issues for decades, contributing to the prolonged suffering and lack of development in Adivasi areas, prioritizing 'vote bank politics' over the well-being of the people.
