NEET PG 2025 Round 1 NRI Eligibility List Released
The organization that handles medical school admissions, called MCC, has put out a list of students who want to apply for special seats reserved for people whose families live outside India (NRI seats).
To get on this list, students who are usually considered Indian students had to show proof that they qualify for the NRI seats.
This list is just a first look, and students on it still need to show their original papers when they go to the college they might get into.
If they don't have the right papers, they could lose their chance to get a seat.
The process for students to pick their preferred colleges has also been given more time.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released the list of candidates eligible for NRI choices in NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 1.
Candidates on the list successfully submitted documents to convert their category from Indian to NRI for postgraduate medical seats.
Seat allocation under the NRI quota follows a two-tier priority system based on NRI status and familial relationship.
The released list is provisional, requiring original document verification at the allotted college for final confirmation.
The NEET PG 2025 Round 1 choice filling and locking process has been extended, potentially revising the seat allotment result declaration date.
