Apple Unveils Foldable iPhone Duo and New Devices
Apple held an event at Apple Park on September 9 to show several new products.
The biggest announcement was the iPhone Duo, which folds like a book and opens into a larger screen.
It starts at $1,999, making it the most expensive iPhone Apple has announced.
The iPhone 18 Pro models received a new camera that can change its aperture, like a traditional camera.
New Apple Watches can check heart information more often and give users a readiness score.
The Watch Ultra 4 is designed to last longer between charges.
AirPods 5 now include active noise cancellation, even though they do not fully seal the ear.
Apple will also release new operating systems and a rebuilt Siri that uses artificial intelligence.
Some Siri features will initially be unavailable in the European Union and China and will support only limited languages.
Apple introduced the iPhone Duo, its first foldable phone, with a 7.6-inch inner display and a starting price of $1,999.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup adds a variable-aperture main camera, the A20 Pro chip, and longer claimed battery life.
Apple announced Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 updates focused on heart-rate monitoring, readiness scores, battery life, and AI features.
AirPods 5 add active noise cancellation, improved transparency features, and optional wireless charging for $129 or $149.
iOS 27 and other software updates arrive September 14, while the rebuilt Siri AI launches in beta with regional and language limitations.
