India Target West Indies Whitewash in Third ODI
India and West Indies are playing the third match of their ODI series.
India have already won the series, but they will try to win this match too.
That would give them a series whitewash.
India captain Shubman Gill scored a record-breaking double century in the last match.
He will play his first ODI at Mullanpur Stadium.
India’s batters have been doing well, but the bowlers have found it harder to take early wickets.
Kuldeep Yadav has had little support from the other bowlers.
Ravindra Jadeja will also be looking to improve his recent wicket record.
India enter the third ODI having already secured the series against West Indies.
Shubman Gill is aiming for another big score after his record-breaking double century in the second ODI.
The match will be Gill’s first ODI at Mullanpur Stadium in New Chandigarh, in his home state of Punjab.
India’s new-ball bowlers have taken only one wicket in the first 10 overs across the first two games.
Ravindra Jadeja is under scrutiny after taking three wickets in his last eight games.
