SETKUR urges students to reject drugs, pursue skills

SETKUR held an anti-drug awareness program for students in Kurnool.

Dr K. Venugopal told young people to stay away from narcotics.

He said drugs can hurt health, families, and education.

Students were asked not to follow friends into harmful habits.

They were encouraged to speak with parents or teachers when facing problems.

Excise officials explained that helping buy, sell, or move illegal drugs can bring serious punishment.

Students were told to report suspicious drug activity by calling 1972.

Officials also suggested sports, yoga, skill courses, and social service as healthy ways to spend free time.

Teachers, parents, and government agencies were urged to work together against substance abuse.
