CISCE Announces Pilot Test Windows for Online School Assessments
Imagine school tests are now done on computers!
The CISCE is trying this out with a small group of schools.
They've picked two time periods in October and November for the tests.
Instead of testing the usual classes, they are testing the grade above to avoid burdening current students.
The tests will help see how well kids are learning and how well teachers are teaching.
Schools can choose which time works best for them.
Eventually, all the schools connected to CISCE will do this.
CISCE announced online assessment windows for schools.
Two assessment windows are scheduled: October and November.
The pilot program includes 300 schools nationally.
Assessments will target Classes III, VI, and IX this year.
The assessments aim to identify learning gaps and measure teaching effectiveness.
