SRH Player Retention for IPL 2026 Announced Amidst Shami Trade
Imagine a big cricket team called the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
They just announced which players they are keeping and which ones they are letting go for the next big cricket season, called IPL 2026.
They recently made it to the final game in 2024 but didn't do as well in the season after that.
Before this announcement, they already traded one of their star bowlers, Mohammed Shami, to another team.
Some players who started strong, like Ishan Kishan who even scored a hundred in his first game, didn't keep up that great performance throughout the year.
This player change is happening as teams get ready for the new season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has announced their retained and released player list for IPL 2026.
The team failed to qualify for the playoffs in the season following their IPL 2024 final appearance.
Mohammed Shami has already been traded to the Lucknow Super Giants for ₹10 crore.
