3i Infotech Rights Issue Oversubscribed, Raises ₹64.10 Crore

Imagine a company, 3i Infotech, wanted to raise some money to grow bigger and better.

They decided to ask their current owners, called shareholders, if they wanted to buy more company 'pieces' (shares) at a special price.

This special offer was called a 'rights issue'.

Many people, including the company's own bosses and other investors, thought this was a great idea and bought more shares than the company offered!

Because so many people wanted to buy, the offer was 'oversubscribed'.

This means the company successfully raised more money than they initially planned, which they will use to invest in new technologies like cloud and AI to help the company grow in the future.
