BMC Issues Stop-Work Notices to 106 Construction Sites
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Mumbai has told 106 construction sites to stop working because they did not put in machines to check the air quality.

Some of the sites that got notices are working on big projects, like a railway bridge and housing projects.
The Bombay High Court was not happy with the BMC's efforts and warned to stop the salaries of top officials if they do not follow the court's orders to improve air quality.
