Apple’s Market Value Rose Under Cook, Then AI Concerns Emerged

Apple became much more valuable while Tim Cook was its CEO.

Its market value grew from about $350 billion to as much as $5 trillion.

Apple reached several major milestones between 2018 and 2026.

The company made money not only from iPhones but also from services such as iCloud and Apple Pay.

Apple also bought back many of its own shares, reducing the number of shares available.

Recently, investors became worried about Apple’s slower AI progress.

They also worried that memory shortages could make Apple’s products more expensive.
